Beyond the Screens: Cyberlogic’s Journey at the “4th Festival of Forgotten Games”

At Cyberlogic, we create technology for a reason – to connect people. But sometimes, the most powerful connections happen away from screens. That’s why we jumped at the chance to be part of the “4th Festival of Forgotten Games” with the Smile of the Child.

Our team had a blast interacting with the kids and everyone who participated in the event. We set up a booth filled with games, puzzles, and other interactive activities, and we were delighted to see the kids’ faces light up as they explored the field in such a fun and engaging way. Even more, sharing this experience with our incredible team, which we’re truly grateful for coming as volunteers and with the wonderful team of the Smile of the Child, made it even more special. For those unaware, The Smile of the Child is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting children in need.

This festival was a powerful reminder to cherish the simple pleasures of a good game and to nurture the same joy in the children around us. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but it’s crucial to never lose sight of the simple things that make life so special.

Did you know? Play is essential for children’s development, both physically and mentally. It helps them learn new skills, develop their imaginations, and build social connections. It also provides an outlet for stress and anxiety, allowing them to relax and recharge! Moreover, this extends to adults too! People who engage in regular play are more likely to be creative, productive, and resilient. They’re also better able to cope with stress and maintain a positive outlook on life.

So, the next time you have a free moment, take some time to play! Whether it’s a game of catch with a friend, a round of puzzles with your kids, or simply taking a walk in nature, let yourself rediscover the joy of a simpler living.

Let’s keep supporting such initiatives and the beautiful cause of The Smile of the Child.

See you next year!
