The IT specialist for destination management companies (DMCs) is expanding the product range. With tools for contract management, customer support in the target area and networking of incoming agencies, organizers are moving
into the spotlight.

The travel tech developer based in Crete started with a “DMC End2End platform”, a solution that covers all aspects of the travel process for incomers, from booking to operations in the destination area. The platform also makes it easier to sell additional services such as excursions. Customers include Meeting Point, the DMC organization of the FTI Group.

Cyberlogic is now expanding its range of systems for event organizers. The company has developed a contracting tool in which hotel contracts are managed automatically and all information is bundled. “Event organizers have thousands of hotel contracts, but sometimes manage them in different systems and therefore cannot make optimal use of the data,” says CEO Stergios Panagiotakis. The contracting tool closes a gap in the process chain and is compatible with all organizer systems.

Cyberlogic uses the connection to DMC customers for another application, the Online Distribution Hub. This “Cyberhub” creates the opportunity for organizers to quickly connect new incoming partners in target areas in which the provider has barely had a presence or only has low customer volumes. “They are tested and established DMCs, the technology is uniform and collaboration can begin immediately,” says Panagiotakis.

The use of artificial intelligence plays an important role at Cyberlogic, which, according to the CEO and co-shareholder, has installed applications in 18 countries worldwide. An “AI Virtual Agent” has now been created. This is a white label solution for informing the customer before and during the trip. According to Panagiotakis, the virtual agent serves as the basis for an app that organizers can make available to their customers so that they can, for example, be informed about travel and transfer times or book excursions and tickets on vacation.

Make predictions with the help of AI

AI solutions will play an important role in all Cyberlogic products in the future, says Panagiotakis. “It’s not just about the efficient management of contracts and the control of processes, but we want to use AI to help our customers make predictions for future business development based on the existing data.”

Overall, he does not see his company as a competitor to existing organizer systems. “We are complementary and help our customers grow quickly,” says Panagiotakis, whose company has all relevant ISO certifications and works cloud-based. “Silicon Crete” in der Travel Technology Cyberlogic, which achieved sales of two million euros in 2023, wants to grow strongly over the next five years. The Crete location is not a disadvantage when it comes to attracting new employees, says Panagiotakis. “After all, Crete is an island with a high quality of life.” The aim must be for even more IT companies to settle in Heraklion and the surrounding area, following the example of Palma de Mallorca, and thus create their own travel tech ecosystem – Panagiotakis calls it “Silicon
Crete”.
