At Cyberlogic, we’re passionate about creating a workplace that is not only a hub for travel tech innovation but also a safe and inclusive space for all of our employees. We believe that a respectful and supportive work environment is essential for fostering creativity, collaboration, and of course, individual growth.
As part of our ongoing commitment to workplace well-being, we hosted a seminar this May on identifying, preventing, and managing potential violence and harassment in the workplace.
The seminar highlighted the importance of creating a culture of open communication and zero tolerance for any form of violence or harassment. We emphasised the need for active bystander intervention, encouraging employees to speak up and report any concerns they may have. We outlined the various resources available to employees, including confidential reporting channels, counselling services, and legal assistance. Creating a safe and inclusive workplace is a continuous process that requires ongoing commitment and vigilance.
The seminar equipped our team with a comprehensive skill set to navigate these complex issues. We gained a strong understanding of the legal framework surrounding violence and harassment in the workplace, empowering us to identify potential red flags early on. This knowledge, coupled with the practical strategies for prevention, allows us to create a proactive environment that minimises the risk of such incidents. However, should a situation arise, we are now prepared to respond effectively, prioritise the safety of those involved, and offer appropriate support to victims.
In the end, by encompassing both preventative measures and victim support systems, the seminar provided a well-rounded approach to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace culture.
Together, we can foster an environment where innovation, collaboration, and individual growth can flourish.
Lastly, everyone who participated in the seminar received participation certificates for their attendance.
